It was a grey morning, low tide and smallish waves for our first meet of 2017 at Freshwater Beach Sunday 19th of February.  On the bright side the smaller conditions kept the crowds away, which always puts a smile on a surfers face.

A new year, means a new hoodie, proudly modelled here by Sharon.  This year members had the option to join or renew with a new hoodie or without, but let's face it, there can never be enough surfing merch!

The 2016 GBF Christmas Party was held on the 4th of December, conditions were small but friendly and it was a great way to wrap up a year of waves.

Members young and old all got out together to enjoy a free surf, followed by drinks some nibbles and Trophy Presentation to celebrate the 2016 overall winners.  Almost everyone ended up a winner in the end with the raffle draw.
