Back in the waves - our first meet for 2017

It was a grey morning, low tide and smallish waves for our first meet of 2017 at Freshwater Beach Sunday 19th of February.  On the bright side the smaller conditions kept the crowds away, which always puts a smile on a surfers face.

A new year, means a new hoodie, proudly modelled here by Sharon.  This year members had the option to join or renew with a new hoodie or without, but let's face it, there can never be enough surfing merch!

Congratulations to all the heat winners.  It was great to see some new members do well and even win their heat!  Remember if you're not ready to compete - just come along and free surf.
